Curator Marananga 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon

Belonging to the original Curator range, this Marananga Cabernet Sauvignon was estate grown and hand-picked, open fermented and basket pressed into only French oak. 60-70% new with the remaining percentage aged in 2ndfill French oak for 24 months. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

96 points – Sam Kim February 2019 – Power and grace in one; the gorgeous bouquet shows crème de cassis, dark plum, vanilla and cedar characters with a touch of dried herb complexity. The palate is concentrated and richly expressed, while remaining superbly balanced and harmonious. It is delightfully structured by seamlessly integrated tannins, finishing splendidly long and engaging. At its best: 2020 to 2032.
