Curator Wine Co Riesling
Hand harvested, from an Eden Valley vineyard planted in the 1940’s. The whole bunches were gently pressed with only free run juice cool fermented under 14 degrees in stainless steel tanks over several weeks using wild yeast. Subtle lime leaf, lemongrass and white blossoms combine with lemon sherbet to give a bright and complex aroma. Flavours of Meyer lemon are shared with grapefruit and lemon pith astringency. The amazing natural acidity gives verve and energy, whilst the slate stone minerality leaves you salivating for more.
95 points – Sam Kim February 2019 – It is exquisitely composed and expressed, showing lemon pith, lime sorbet, apple and floral aromas on the nose. The palate is refined and focused, displaying excellent fruit purity and linear mouthfeel, backed by fine texture and perfectly pitched acidity. It is gracefully slim with an extremely long, mouth-watering finish. At its best: 2020 to 2032.
