Sourced from an ancient Grenache vineyard in the Hamlet of Halletts Valley, South of the Village of Tanunda, planted in the 1890’s.
Bottled unfined and unfiltered and is Vegan friendly.

Grenache sourced from a very old vineyard in Halletts Valley; wild fermented with 10% whole bunches and matured in old French oak hogsheads for six months. Lifted and perfumed with pure, juicy plummy fruits taking centre stage along with hints of dried cranberries, charcuterie, exotic spices, ginger cake, cola, earth and lighter wafts of hoisin, earth, rose petals and jasmine. Those aromas transpose neatly over to a palate that shows great fruit purity, flow and inherent drinkability. Dave Brooks

10% whole bunches were naturally fermented with uncrushed whole berries, before being basket pressed into seasoned French oak hogsheads. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered after only 6 months in oak to retain freshness and juiciness and full vineyard integrity.
