If you love full-bodied cabernet, this is for you. A ripe style of fleshy, spicy black/redcurrants and cassis. Bright acidity, finely structured tannins, vibrant blueberry fruit and dark chocolate and coffee oak make for impressive balance, undeterred persistence and considerable integrity. With plenty of ripe blackberries, some raspberry and even violets, this perfumed wine has softly integrated oak and an elegant finish.

Predominantly from our home Marananga Cabernet vineyard with a small percentage of Petite Verdot (5%), 100% French oak 15% new. Natural MLF and 16 months in oak, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Friendly to Vegans too!

Deep crimson with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, dark cherry and boysenberry, hints of brown spice, mocha, crushed herbs, violets, teacake, a suggestion of crushed leaves, cedar and black olive. Full bodied with a solid core of pure fruit, some appealing chocolate-dipped-cherry notes, fine-grained tannins and a sleek, elegant finish. Cracking value here!

  • This Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was hand-picked and had a two-day cold soak then naturally fermented using indigenous yeasts. The ferment was hand plunged three times daily for approximately ten days. Then basket pressed and filled into French (15% new) oak for three weeks barrel fermentation followed by 16 months maturation. The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered and is Vegan Friendly.
